Privacy Policy

EmScapes Landscaping is a landscaping company in Wichita Falls, Texas. This policy explains what we collect when you use our website or ask us for a quote, what we do with it, and who else can see it.

We do not sell your information. We have never done so and have no plans to.

What we collect

When you contact us. Our quote form asks for your name, email address, phone number, the kind of project you have in mind, a budget range, and whatever you'd like to tell us about it. You can also attach photographs of your property. All of it is optional except your name and email — we need those to reply.

When you simply visit. Like most websites, ours records ordinary technical information: your approximate location, the browser and device you're using, which pages you looked at, and how you arrived. This comes from the analytics and advertising tools described below rather than from anything we collect directly.

What we do with it

We use what you send us to reply to you, prepare an estimate, plan and carry out work, and keep records of jobs we've done. Photographs you send help us understand the site before we visit.

If we'd like to use photographs of your finished project in our portfolio or on social media, we will ask you first. We don't publish customer photographs without permission.

Who else can see it

Your enquiry and any photographs are stored in Google Workspace (Google Sheets and Google Drive) and in a database hosted by Supabase. Both are business tools we use to run the company. Our website is hosted by Vercel.

Quotes and invoices are prepared in QuickBooks Online, which holds the name, contact details and job information needed to bill you.

These companies process information on our behalf under their own terms. Nobody buys this data from us and we do not pass it to other landscapers, marketers or lead brokers.

Analytics and advertising

Our website uses Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which reports back to Meta when someone visits our site or asks for a quote. Meta uses that to measure our advertising and to show our ads to people with similar interests.

If you would rather not be included, most browsers offer tracking protection, and Meta and Google both provide their own ad settings. Blocking these tools does not affect your ability to use the site or contact us.

Some pages embed content from other companies — a Facebook feed provided by Elfsight, and videos hosted by YouTube. When that content loads, those companies may set their own cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and job records for as long as we're working together and afterwards for our business records — warranties, accounts and tax. If you'd like your information removed sooner, ask us and we will, except where we're required to keep it for accounting purposes.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email or call and we'll deal with it ourselves — there's no form and no portal.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. We'll honour those requests whether or not they strictly apply to a business our size.

Children

Our services are for property owners. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change how we handle information we'll update this page and the date at the top.
